The fish swim upstream and I had a dream
I said I would post a picture of the rare “Colorado Rockies Bat Fish” so here’s one Robert took for me.
Here they are swimming upstream.
I was reading Happy Youngster’s blog entry about his experience at the Home Run Derby and I knew Dan and Emily were attending the derby.
Among all of Happy’s great pictures was one of Happy and Emily waiting line for the Home Run Derby. I borrowed this picture to share with you.
Good stuff I tell you.
The wife and I heading down to Colorado Springs on Saturday. The Sky Sox play the Fresno Grizzlies and at some point during the game they will be giving away nine used cars.
Our plan is to head down with a brand new bat, my camera and my positive attitude. Funny thing, I had a dream that I won a car at a baseball game not long ago. At the time it didn’t make sense.
The stadium in my dream wasn’t Security Service Field where the Sky Sox play but in the dream for some odd reason they were giving away cars.
Lets see, I have a baseball dream about winning a car then I discover a Sky Sox game where they are giving away used cars. I figure that’s enough of a coincidence that I’m going to roll with the dream and attend that game and say hi to Manny Corpas while I’m down there…D

Good luck winning a car at the game. I hope that the cars are not used from the ’70s but a little newer.
Your Rox have a nice matchup tomorrow with the Pads. You’ve got Jimenez going. I like that guy. He is going to be very good. I would not be surprised to see him move in a trade before the deadline.

D- Corpas back from the bone spurs and looking to help out the bull in SD. Guess you won’t be hangin out with him. Good luck with the cars. Those promos always crack me up but I actually knew a guy who won one in Fort Collins and said the car runs like a dream. Dream…get it. Hehe

Nice win last night, eh? I’m hoping that the Rays can score half of that. Runs have been at a premium in James Shields’ starts.
Is Corpas expected to slot in as a setup guy or is he going to be a mop up guy? Plus, will HE be trade bait or do the Rox consider him a piece of the future. I know he and Fuentes had a battle last couple of seasons to see who would be the team’s closer. So he must be somewhat important.

Always love seeing baseball related art like the bat swing mobile at Safeco Field, and now we have fish swimming. Simply awesome.
Sorry to hear Hammel had a bit of control situations last night, but thankfully Gonzalez got back up off the clay.
You could see Hammel face go three shades of color while he as standing on the mound.
D if anyone could win a car, it would be you. Maybe an old 4X4
or maybe a truck you can drive to games and not worry about people smacking your rear end.
That episode still get me pissed.
